From luxury resorts and private retreats to remote wilderness camps, Mat Hayward creates imagery that captures a true sense of place. His assignments have taken him from the plains of Tanzania and the far reaches of Alaska to destinations across Mexico, French Polynesia, and Europe, documenting properties, wildlife, outdoor pursuits, events, and unforgettable guest experiences. Whether arriving by commercial flight, bush plane, boat, or four-wheel drive, Mat is comfortable working in challenging environments and is available for assignments anywhere in the world.
With experience photographing everything from luxury resorts and remote wilderness lodges to wildlife expeditions and outdoor adventures, Mat brings a unique combination of technical expertise, adaptability, and visual storytelling to every assignment. His work goes beyond documenting locations, creating imagery that captures the experience, atmosphere, and emotion that inspire people to travel. Whether the assignment requires a commercial flight, bush plane, boat ride, or trek into the backcountry, Mat is prepared to go wherever the story takes him.
